I need some thoughts for my wife for Christmas.
Three years ago bought her a CUT with HST.
Two years ago it was a John Deere Gator. (A JD salesman said he wished his wife would be so easy to please.)
Last year had to be furniture. Messed up got the z turn in the fall, too early for it to be her Christmas gift.
But thoughts for this year....

I think you should be looking for a nice travel trailer for her. 5th wheel with multiple side outs, possibly one with a garage to carry the gator or a boat for fishing.
The direction you are going it will be much more comfortable than the dog house. ....

Learned at another post auto's trans and 5th wheels do not go together.
In all seriousness she wanted the Gator. The color. No joke, it had to be green.
But the boat is not a bad idea. Any others? Have looked at cab for HER Gator. Sure do hate for her not to be warm while running around.
By the way, any good dog house plans??

A buddy of mine built a shed for extra storage. It's got heat and air conditioning, carpet, a futon and his Sony Playstation and TV. He didn't get satelite hooked up yet. With his Mother-in-law, sis-in-law living with them, it's not a bad place for him.
A gift for the Carolinas... A hunting lodge? Hunting property? Duck blind? Boat? Do you, I mean, does she need an ATV? Would she like a 65" Plasma HDTV to watch her favorite educational programming? ....

Yeah, eductactional shows...maybe even cooking shows...very possible. Of course it would need testing and that could take place in the dog house, I mean workshop so no harmful rays would escape in the house.
What is so funny here...most guys are sitting there with their mouth salvating wishing they could give their wife such items and saying, the orginial post could not be true. But it is.
Wives are like CUTs, you need to think long and careful and selcted the one that suits YOU. A real country girl is hard to beat! Doesn't even matter which country.

Well, last year my wife wanted a baby. She's got one. I don't recommend you try that. It's really expensive and requires a lot of maintenance in the first 7 months we've owned it. Can't seem to stop the water leak... ....

As our youngest was married this past Saturday I will skip your thought. Also there is a long order time on those.
Not only is the water leak an issue and can be for many months but that is only the tip. The cost is much more than almost any equipment. However, if taken care of and treated properly nothing has such a high pay back ratio. Not in money, but swollen heart and pride. However, compared to most equipment when it is gone so are all cost, not so with children. Just because the place of garage changes, you do not loose all responability for them. Come to think of it, that is not all bad.
